Noah Stokes on Brooklyn Beta

The thing about really-smart-people is that if you throw a problem their way you can almost start to see the gears turning in their head. Put three or four of those people in close proximity and all of the sudden it’s an impromptu SWOT analysis of proposed solutions around a table of bacon flavored cookies. Yes, bacon flavored.

Normally, I do a write-up of conferences I attend. But when someone writes a near reflection of what is in your head, there is no need to.

Brooklyn Beta 2011 was a ‘really-smart-people’ conference, as Noah put it. And he is absolutely right.

Meeting smart, astonishing new people was the main reason for my recent travels. And Brooklyn Beta was the epitome of this.
